I am brewing this startup to make naturally sweet cold brew with only two ingredients: coffee, water y nada más. No sugar needed! This is a project to bring Specialty coffee to a wider audience, not just from Colombia, my country, but from around the world because its flavor is amazing and because it improves the lives of everyone along the coffee supply chain. Here is how this project started. 

I worked for more than a decade in the energy industry in Texas.

Until one taste of really good Colombian coffee changed my life and I went from not drinking coffee to becoming a coffee entrepreneur.

I started to learn more about coffee, taking classes in Dallas and New York City.

Then I went to Colombia to visit farms and learn about coffee from the growers’ point view.

I realized that to make the best coffee, I needed to source the best beans and roast them myself, so I started to roast my own selections in my home garage.

My coffee has won national awards and everyone who tried it lit up. I was shocked. People told me they had never tasted coffee this good.

So I came to Stanford to learn how to build demand for high-quality coffee.

I founded The Cold Brew Project to bring great coffee to the hands of coffee lovers and make a difference in the lives of coffee growers, their families and their communities.
